Job Summary

Our client, a leading healthcare provider is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Psychologist to join its multidisciplinary team. The organization specializes in providing residential and supported living services for children and adults with complex mental health needs, intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support requirements.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. The role requires a motivated and compassionate professional who is dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals receiving support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
  • Provide individual and group therapy/counseling sessions.
  • Develop and implement person-centered care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer training and support to staff, parents, and families.
  • Stay up to date with best practices, research, and professional standards in psychology.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to service reports.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Participate in professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A recognized postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or mental health conditions (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • A full clean driving license.
