Locum Emergency Medicine Consultant (Summer 2025)

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of emergency care services across all acuity levels

• Supervise and support junior doctors and ED staff

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide timely patient care

• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and teaching activities

• Contribute to the development of protocols and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)

• Previous experience at Consultant level in Emergency Medicine

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

• Eligible to work in Ireland
