Locum Emergency Medicine Registrar

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level clinical care and assessment to patients presenting to the Emergency Department

• Participate in daily ward rounds, handovers, and multidisciplinary meetings

• Supervise and support junior doctors and medical students

• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with HSE protocols

• Contribute to clinical audits, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements:

• Active registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) – General or Specialist Division

• A minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate medical experience, with at least 1 year in Emergency Medicine

• Valid ACLS, BLS, Childrens First etc. certifications

• Right to work in Ireland
