🏥 Emergency Medicine Consultant – Tipperary University Hospital

We are currently seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our committed team in Tipperary.

Tipperary University Hospital provides a comprehensive range of acute hospital services to the Mid-West region, with a busy Emergency Department that delivers high-quality care to a broad and diverse patient population. The ED is supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team, with a strong emphasis on teaching, mentorship, and continuous professional development.

Working week of 37 hours, scheduled between:
* 8.00am and 10.00pm on rostered Mondays to Fridays
* 8.00am and 6.00pm on rostered Saturdays

Primary responsibilities include:
* Providing clinical care and overseeing governance for all ED patients
* Providing strategic leadership to our emergency services
* Fostering a culture of mentorship and collaboration within the Emergency Department
* Participating in the Emergency Medicine department rotas
* Collaborating effectively with all other consultants at Tipperary University Hospital to ensure the delivery of high-quality emergency care

Requirements:
* Eligible to register or registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) under the Specialist Division
* Relevant experience as an Emergency Medicine Specialist/Consultant

Salary:
€233,527 – €280,513
