Emergency Medicine Consultant

Co. Waterford

We are currently seeking a passionate Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our dedicated team in Co. Waterford. In this role, you will be instrumental in our Emergency Department at University Hospital Waterford, which supports approximately 40,000 patients each year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fostering a culture of mentorship and collaboration within the Emergency Department

• Participating in the Emergency Medicine consultant rota

• Collaborating effectively with all consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality emergency care

• Providing strategic leadership to enhance emergency services

• Supporting continuous service development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Eligible for registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) under Specialist Registration

• Relevant experience as an Emergency Medicine Specialist/Consultant (3+ years)

Salary:

€235,000 – €285,000 per annum
