Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Fetal Medicine)

Job description

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with training in Fetal Medicine to join a leading private healthcare provider in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert care in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, including the management of high-risk pregnancies
• Perform and interpret advanced fetal imaging and diagnostic procedures, including detailed anomaly scans
• Conduct procedures such as amniocentesis, CVS, and other fetal interventions as required
• Collaborate closely with neonatal, genetics, and other specialities to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Lead and contribute to antenatal clinics, including complex case management
• Support and mentor junior medical staff and contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Recognised specialist qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, with formal training in Fetal Medicine, obtained from training programmes in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or EU countries.
• Completed training or fellowship in Fetal Medicine / Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Strong expertise in fetal ultrasound and invasive diagnostic procedures
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage but not essential)
