Paediatric Neurology Consultant (Cork, Ireland)

The Consultant will play a key role in:

• Clinical leadership within Paediatric Neurology services
• Participating in departmental rotas and providing senior clinical cover
• Supporting service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
• Providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of neurological conditions in children
• Mentoring and teaching NCHDs, trainees, and multidisciplinary colleagues

You will work alongside experienced professionals including:

• Paediatric Neurology Consultants
• Paediatricians and Specialist Registrars
• Nursing staff
• General Practice and Core Specialty Trainees

Salary & Benefits

• €235,000 – €283,000+ Consultant salary scale

Eligibility

Suitable applicants may hold:

• UK CCT in Paediatric Neurology or Paediatrics with a Neurology subspecialty (CESR not eligible)
• EU Specialist qualification recognised under EU Directive
• American Board certification in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology
• Canadian Fellowship in Paediatric Neurology
• Australian or New Zealand Fellowship
• Available Immediately

ACTIVE Irish Medical Council Specialist Registration is required.
