Rehabilitation Consultant – Dublin

Role Overview

We are seeking a number of Rehabilitation Consultants to join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team in Dublin. The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, spinal, and complex rehabilitation needs, supporting recovery, function, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist rehabilitation medicine assessments and treatment plans.
• Manage patients with stroke, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and coordinate patient care.
• Perform procedures such as spasticity management and injection therapies where appropriate.
• Support discharge planning, community rehabilitation, and return-to-work programs.
• Participate in clinical governance, teaching, and service development.

Requirements

• Medical degree and full registration (or eligibility) with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
• Specialist registration in Rehabilitation Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in rehabilitation medicine and multidisciplinary care.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

What We Offer:

• The current Consultant salary ranges from €238,221 to €286,151 for a 37-hour week. The package also includes €12,000 annual CPD funding, €8,000 innovation funding, generous annual and study leave, and a public pension scheme.
