An exciting opportunity is available for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a leading private healthcare provider in Dubai. This role is suited to a highly skilled physician with strong experience in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders, with a particular focus on general endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
The successful candidate will become part of an established multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care within a modern, patient-centred healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology consultations and treatment plans.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
- Deliver exceptional patient care in line with international best practice standards.
Requirements
- Tier 1 training and qualifications in Gastroenterology.
- Board Certification, CCT, CCST, American Board Certification, CSCST, FRACP, or equivalent specialist qualification recognised for Consultant registration.
- 3+ years of experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist.
- Strong expertise in general endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
- Eligibility to obtain Consultant Gastroenterologist licensure in Dubai. Existing DHA eligibility or licensing is advantageous but not essential; the hospital will apply for your license once you accept the job offer.
