Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology – Dubai

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join a leading private healthcare provider in Dubai. This position is ideal for a highly skilled and patient-focused consultant with substantial experience in both obstetrics and gynecology, particularly those with a strong obstetric caseload and proven clinical track record.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional women’s healthcare services within a modern, state-of-the-art hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology consultations, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies through antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Perform obstetric and gynecological procedures in line with international best practices.
• Conduct elective and emergency deliveries, including Caesarean sections where applicable.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gynecological conditions.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to quality and governance standards.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• Tier 1 training and qualifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Board Certification, CCT, CCST, American Board Certification, CSCST, FRANZCOG, MRCOG, or equivalent specialist qualification recognised for Consultant registration.
• Significant Consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Strong obstetric experience supported by a substantial procedural and delivery logbook.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing a broad spectrum of obstetric and gynecological cases.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
• Eligible to obtain Consultant licensure in Dubai. Current DHA Eligibility or DHA Licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Willingness to sit the licensing examination if required.

Preferred Experience

• Extensive independent practice in Obstetrics with a strong record of deliveries and obstetric procedures.
• Experience within internationally recognised healthcare systems.
• Ability to contribute to service development and clinical excellence initiatives.

• Salary: AED 80,000 – 85,000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience).
