Dermatology Specialist GP
Location: Dublin
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
Salary: €120,000 – €200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and agreed working arrangements
About the Role
AllView Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Dermatology Specialist GP to join our growing clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity for a GP with a strong interest and experience in dermatology to work within an innovative, patient-focused service delivering high-quality dermatology care.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of dermatological conditions, working collaboratively with consultant dermatologists, nursing colleagues, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of skin conditions
* Identify and appropriately escalate cases requiring consultant input or onward referral
* Support delivery of efficient dermatology pathways in line with clinical governance standards
* Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical records
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support service development and continuous improvement
* Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality assurance processes as required
Essential Criteria
* Registered medical practitioner with the Irish Medical Council
* MICGP, MRCGP, or equivalent recognised qualification
* Strong experience in dermatology assessment and management within primary care, community, or specialist settings
* Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills
* Experience in skin lesion assessment
* Experience managing chronic inflammatory skin conditions, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin infections
* Commitment to high standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism
* Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable Criteria
* Diploma or higher qualification in Dermatology
* Familiarity with teledermatology pathways
* Experience in minor surgical procedures and cryotherapy
