MatchMedics is currently recruiting a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in Ireland for a leading HSE service in Cork.

As a specialist medical recruitment partner to the HSE and private healthcare providers, MatchMedics supports Consultant Psychiatrists relocating to Ireland with a full-service approach including IMC registration guidance, relocation support, and long-term career planning.

Salary & Benefits – HSE Consultant Psychiatrist Ireland

• €235,862 – €283,318 Consultant Salary (2026 HSE Scale)
• On-call allowance: €11,125+ per annum
• €12,000 CME funding annually
• €8,000 Research & Innovation Grant
• 37-hour working week (Public Only Consultant Contract)
• 30 days annual leave + 10 public holidays
• Defined benefit HSE pension scheme

Role Overview – Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist Ireland

As a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will:

• Lead multidisciplinary CAMHS teams within the Cork region
• Deliver specialist psychiatric care to children and adolescents
• Support early intervention and community mental health services
• Contribute to clinical leadership and service development
• Engage in teaching, training, and governance

✅ Requirements – Work as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Ireland

• Specialist Registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
• Experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
• Eligibility to work as a Consultant in Ireland
• Strong MDT and leadership experience
