Consultant Dermatologist / GP with Dermatology & Skin Surgery Experience
Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland


Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced doctor-either a Consultant Dermatologist or a GP with advanced training in dermatology and skin surgery-to join our expanding private dermatology practice in Tralee, County Kerry.

This post may also suit a doctor who has completed higher specialist training in dermatology, plastic surgery, or has an SPR background. Training in aesthetic medicine is advantageous but not essential. We are looking for someone interested in long-term collaboration, with a view to future partnership.


Salary:
€150,000 – €300,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and scope of practice.

  • No on-call or night shifts

  • Full-time, permanent role

  • Flexible working arrangements available


About Us :
We are a purpose-built, private dermatology centre offering expert, community-based care to adults and children across Munster. Led by Dr David Buckley, our clinic combines traditional patient-centred care with cutting-edge innovation.

Our Services Include:

  • Acne, eczema, psoriasis, and general dermatology

  • Skin cancer detection and management

  • Paediatric dermatology

  • Radiosurgery, cryosurgery, nail surgery

  • Patch and prick allergy testing

  • Aesthetic treatments: Botox, IPL, microneedling, laser therapy

  • Teledermatology and AI-enhanced assessment pathways

We are supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team and run on advanced Health One EMR systems. Our collaborative ethos extends to close partnerships with local GPs, consultants, and hospitals in Kerry and Cork.


What the Role Involves:

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions

  • Perform surgical procedures (biopsies, excisions, cyst/removal, nail surgery)

  • Opportunity to offer aesthetic services (Botox, fillers, etc.)

  • Participate in audits, training, teaching, and research

  • Work collaboratively with primary care and hospital colleagues

  • Help grow and shape the clinic’s future
