Requirements: Active Irish Medical Council (IMC) registration – Specialist Division

Galway University Hospitals (GUH), which includes University Hospital Galway (UHG) and Merlin Park University Hospital (MPUH), is currently recruiting consultants across a range of specialities.

About GUH:

• UHG is a Model 4 hospital, providing 24/7 acute surgery, medicine, and critical care.

• GUH is a regional referral centre for a wide range of specialities.

• It is a designated supra-regional centre for cancer and cardiac services, serving a population of approximately one million people from Donegal to North Tipperary.

• GUH is recognised for Higher Specialist Training in all major medical fields.

• Academic partner: NUI Galway.

GUH is part of the Saolta University Health Care Group, which includes:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must hold active IMC registration on the Specialist Division

• Relevant postgraduate qualification and experience in your speciality

• Strong commitment to clinical service and patient care

• Available to start in July/August
