We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work for an amazing private client in Dublin.

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (with an on-call commitment)

Role Summary

The Consultant Psychiatrist will lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves clinical leadership, service development, and collaboration with external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care in General Adult Psychiatry, with a focus on neuropsychiatry or neurodegenerative illness.
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, supporting best practices in clinical governance and service delivery.
• Develop and implement innovative approaches to patient care.
• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
• Engage in teaching, training, and research activities in collaboration with academic institutions.

Requirements

• Specialist registration with the Medical Council of Ireland in Psychiatry.
• Experience in neuropsychiatry or neurodegenerative illness.
• Proven leadership in clinical settings with an ability to drive service improvements.
• Strong teaching and research capabilities.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
