Consultant Plastic Surgeon
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to provide high-quality, patient-focused care in Abu Dhabi. The role requires clinical expertise, professional integrity, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and service excellence.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Practice
Provide specialised plastic surgery services within an approved scope of practice, consulting with colleagues and specialists when appropriate.
Assess patient concerns thoroughly, ensuring expectations are clearly understood and communicated to the care team.
Engage patients in clinical decisions by providing accurate, timely, and relevant information.
Address patient feedback and complaints efficiently, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.
Consistently deliver compassionate, ethical, and patient-centred care.
Quality Assurance & Governance
Adhere strictly to institutional policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Execute all procedures with accuracy and attention to detail to reduce clinical risk.
Identify and escalate any instances of non-compliance or safety concerns in a professional and constructive manner.
Regularly review and reflect on personal clinical performance to support continuous quality improvement.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience at Consultant level following specialist qualification.
At least one year of Consultant-level practice completed in a Tier 1 country, as defined by UAE healthcare authorities.
Primary medical degree plus completion of an accredited postgraduate training programme (Fellowship or equivalent).
Specialist certification and registration recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare regulatory body.
Valid and current Life Support certification, including BLS and/or other advanced life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
