Locum Consultant Anaesthesiologist

MatchMedics (HSE Tier 1 Agency) – Various Hospitals, Ireland

Provide consultant-level anaesthetic care across multiple HSE hospitals on a locum basis

• Deliver perioperative anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgical procedures across a range of specialties
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualised anaesthetic plans
• Manage intraoperative care, ensuring patient safety, haemodynamic stability, and optimal outcomes
• Oversee post-operative care, including pain management and recovery support
• Respond to emergency situations, including airway management and resuscitation as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE protocols and regulatory standards
• Adapt quickly to different hospital environments, systems, and team structures

MUST HAVE:

Specialist Registration

Irish/UK/EU Passport OR Stamp 1g/4 visa.
