Locum Orthopaedics Surgeon

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct elective and trauma orthopaedic surgeries

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care

• Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical staff

• Engage in audits, research, and teaching activities to enhance service delivery

Essential Criteria:

• Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the speciality of Orthopaedic Surgery

• Proven experience in clinical practice, delivering both acute unscheduled and scheduled care

• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
