Locum Rheumatology Registrar

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist care for patients with rheumatological disorders, including autoimmune diseases, musculoskeletal diseases, and inflammatory conditions.
• Participate in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of inpatients and outpatients under the guidance of senior consultants.
• Support clinical teaching and mentoring of junior medical staff and medical students.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) or eligible for registration.
• Completion of basic specialist training in Internal Medicine or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Rheumatology or a keen interest in developing expertise in this specialty.
