An exciting opportunity for a Junior Doctor to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art mental health service in Gormanston, Co. Meath.

This role involves providing high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric and risk assessments

• Diagnose conditions and devise treatment plans

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

• Prescribe and monitor medications

• Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold best practices

Requirements

• Fully registered Medical Practitioner with the Irish Medical Council

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

• Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2001 and psychopharmacology

• Experience working with adults with mental illness

• Strong clinical skills and a biopsychosocial approach
